A lot happened over the summer while the Wrap was on hiatus. One of those things was relevant to this here world of marketing and networking and connection and bon-bons… and that was the launch of the Google+ social network.
But I’m just going to come right out and say it: Although the internet at large soiled itself with excitement when Google+ was launched, I checked in, said “Meh,” and went back to Twitter. I mean, I knew people on Twitter. Why did I need to find them all again on Google+?
Of course, Brian’s kind of a big deal over there. Just thought I’d spice up your weekend with something that may get me fired. Again.

Wednesday:
How to Master the One Trait That Makes You Unstoppable
I got all excited when I saw this post’s title, because I figured that the trait had to be iron skin, and it would be seriously awesome if you had iron skin because people could shoot you and the bullets would just bounce off and you’d go MUHAHAHAHA! and so on. Well, the bad news is that this post is not about iron skin, but the good news is that it is about something achievable. So, you know… go achieve it. (Unless you have iron skin, in which case you don’t need to achieve crap.)

A Social Media Marketing Case Study: Uncertainty by Jonathan Fields
This post is crazy. CRA-ZY! I figured it would be about learning to work with uncertainty, but it’s actually this incredibly detailed roadmap for Jonathan Fields’s book launch strategy. I won’t give you much more here other than to say read this post. Holy information treasure trove, Batman!

OMG SERIOUSLY AWESOME. I was pretty psyched to read this implication re: the latest Copyblogger podcast that success in online marketing requires being weird.
