I think this deal will be very beneficial for Microsoft, because Linkedin is a content company which is trusted by millions of recruiters & freelancers. It’ll surely be much more helpful than $26.2 billion.
Seth Morrisey says
LinkedIn is one of the few social networks I think actually has staying power. I’m somewhat new to the platform but recently I have been spending more time growing my LinkedIn presence. I appreciate the fact that the content is informative and business related, unlike other social networks where the majority of the content is spam.

I dont think this agreement will be very fuitfull for all client and users, bcoz we use LinkdIn for its authentication and there were less scam individuals and companies. But there are lots of scam and fake identities in Microsoft either outlook email, hotmail, Skype , etc. so it will loos authentication from users.
