Copyblogger is 5 Years Old!

Yep, it’s time to put on the big boy pants … Copyblogger is five years old today.

A lot has happened in those quick five years, but as with any 5-year-old, we’re just getting started.

Most of all, we want to thank each and every one of you for “raising” us to this point — it truly could not have happened without you. So thanks for that, and also for sticking with us for the cool stuff we’ve got for you as we head toward age six.

We’re also really sorry for scribbling on the wall with that black Sharpie. Whoops.

    • Your podcasts are the best part of your program because you can only write so much in every article and the podcasts allow you to dive into greater detail. What’s more, you don’t have the opportunity to sit for a half hour proof reading your audio like you do your posts, so we get to see the real you in action.

    And the post that started it all was called “Sold”. In fact, it talks about how people go online for information seeking out solutions. And blogs are such a great way to build authority and trust so when you do “buy”, you don’t feel that certain discomfort that comes from being sold….

    That post, 5 years later is still true and it’s not only true it’s been proven over and over. And as Zig Ziglar once said,

    β€œEvery sale has five basic obstacles: no need, no money, no hurry, no desire, no trust.β€?

    Enough said. Copyblogger was born and what a great place to be then and in the foreseeable future.

    CopyBlogger has significantly improved over time (especially after leaving Thesis � ). I wish to see how it looked like when it started its journey, though.

    Five years of this is a lot for someone to go through. A book would help new readers get more out of CB.
